Sunday Evening Service and Activities - 6:00 P.M.
Will the world end in 2012? According to those who ascribe to the Mayan calendar or follow Nostradamus' "prophecies," the world will end this year. The Thessalonian believers were very interested in the Second Coming of Christ. The next few weeks we will study Paul's instructions and encouragement to the believers there, and how it applies to Christ-followers today, 2000 years later. Message for Sunday, February 12: "But What of the Rapture?" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). 

Midweek Meal and Classes
Midweek Meal begins at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesdays.  Please contact the church office at 704.629.5286 if you plan on eating as this will ensure good stewardship in ordering our weekly food items.
Midweek Classes begin at 6:45 P.M. on Wednesdays.  There are three different classes to choose from and those are Tender Warrior-(Men's Bible Study), Managing Your Moods-(Women's Bible Study), and Spiritual Gifts-(Co-Ed Bible Study).  Please feel free to join right in.  FUEL Youth and AWANA also begin at 6:45 P.M. on Wednesdays.

Choir Practice
The choir is now rehearsing the Easter Cantata "O What A Savior". There is room in the choir for you. Rehearsal begins at 4:30 p.m. each Sunday with Cantata rehearsal at 5:10 p.m.

 Wesleyan Women
The Wesleyan Women will sponsor the 'Ash Wednesday' meal on February 22 at 5:30 p.m. The Whitener/Clark circle will meet on Tuesday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m.  

Couples' Retreat
A retreat is being planned for February 17-19 in Gatlinburg. Pastor Todd and Michelle Reynolds will lead the retreat.  In order to commit to a cabin, we must know if you plan on going.  Please contact the church office to sign up.

CDL Drivers Needed
Anyone interested in obtaining a CDL with passenger endorsement license to drive the church bus, please contact the church office for more information.

Crisis Center
The item needed for February is Lima Beans.

FUEL Youth

The Youth will be going to SkyHigh Sports on Friday, February 10th.  Please meet at the church at 4:30 p.m. to leave.  The cost is $10.00.

We will also sponsor the midweek meal on Wednesday, February 15th.  Please meet at the church at 4:30 p.m. to setup and prepare.  The meal will be spaghetti and salad.
